"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." Habakkuk 2:14

I ate my last bowl of ramen in Narita airport and am now in transit back home.  I feel exhilarated, in large part because I will (Lord willing) be able to reunite with my wife and daughter after a very long three weeks away, but also because I feel a strong sense of, not only accomplishment in feeling like we gave it a good run on this trip, but also one of exhilaration at seeing what the Lord accomplished in and through us these last weeks.

There is a good chance that one or two of the lifegroups we started may continue, the possibility of one more starting up in the coming week (as David and Beth G. stick around in Tokyo for another week), each of these groups having a fairly good system of support in that Mark G. and Michael Chase will be in or around the area this summer, and, most incredible, we have a new Japanese brother in Christ.

He and I are planning on talking again this week.  He has already made some pretty courageous decisions in the beginning day s of following Christ, and I have high hopes for his life in Him.  Please continue praying for him and for these lifegroups.

I look forward to sharing more details of the trip with you all.  I am SO thankful for everyone that was a part of our team, both physically and spiritually through going and praying and giving.

For now, I’m going to enjoy a couple of days with my family….
