“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…”
Danielle and I have been married for almost 20 years and have been blessed with three amazing kids.
As a family, our desire is to seek to live in and advance the Kingdom of God in all the spheres of influence the Lord puts us in. And we believe this begins in our home. Right now we live in Jarrell, TX and are laboring with a growing community of friends to plant new communities of faith by engaging people who do not yet know Jesus with the good news of the Kingdom throughout the Greater Austin Metropolitan area.We are doing this in close partnership with the Greater Austin Mission Society. (www.missionatx.org)
We have a particular orientation to seek the advancement of the gospel among Unreached People Groups. (See this web-site for a definition of Unreached People Groups: https://joshuaproject.net/help/definitions#unreached)
We lived in Tokyo, Japan as missionaries for eight years and by God’s great grace we have been able to leave behind multiple teams that are carrying on the mission. Those teams are stewarding work that is spread across multiple major cities in a variety of contexts. In every way, our teammates are seeing greater visible fruit than we did and are accomplishing greater goals. We are so happy to say that we still get to be a part of that growing work through coaching and multiple yearly trips for ongoing training and mentorship. We continue to serve alongside of the No Place Left coalition in these endeavors. (See http://www.noplaceleft.net and http://www.noplaceleftjapan.com for more information.)
Part of our transition back to the United States involved Danielle and I looking for the storyline that God wants to write through our family as a whole. One important piece of our current ministry that relates to this pursuit is that Danielle and I have become certified as Parent Coaches with a ministry called Connected Families. The culture of our family has been greatly benefited, to say the least, by the coaching we have received from CF and we are so thankful to be able to pass that on to others.
