Earlier today Mattie said, “I want to play with playdough!” And Danielle responded, “I’m sorry Mattie, we don’t have any right now. Maybe later we can make some.” It was really close to naptime and the process is a little involved, so they got ready for bed and off she went.
A little while later while she was napping we received a delivery from Danielle’s mom. Danielle waited to open it until Mattie woke up because she knew she’d be excited to open the package, and lo-and-behold….it had Playdoh! We hadn’t specifically requested it, but mom had thought to put in some extra treats for the kids.
It was a great chance to teach her that God loves to bless His kids and just seemingly randomly (although always at the perfect time) He chooses to give us perfect little blessings to remind us of His love and that He is taking care of us.
