Rom 8:31  What then shall we say to these things?

Everything in the preceding and following verses found in Romans 8 leave the believer with no words to counteract the powerful and strongly supported conclusion that God is FOR us.

No voice, no power, no opposition can stand against the love that God has for His people and has been demonstrated through the cross of Christ and poured out by the Holy Spirit into our hearts.

The only question that remains is why we LET voices and accusations come against this truth when it cannot be changed.  There is NOTHING we can say in opposition.  Nothing ANYONE can say.

WHAT then shall we say in response to these things?  What CAN we say against these proofs of God’s incredible love for His people?

Answer:  (silence)
