STM update

Based on a lot of prayer and counsel, Danielle and I have decided against her and Mattie going on the mission trip this summer.  It seems like there is still at least a small chance of risk for Mattie due to some of the radiation concerns, and we think the benefit of Mattie going on the STM (short term mission trip) does not outweigh the risk at this point.  We are trusting that the Lord will use these circumstances to the advantage of the mission.  (Potentially my ability to focus on the important task at hand?)  I and most of the original team members are still moving forward, though, and expecting the Lord to do great things during our time in Japan.

With that said, would you mind taking a minute to pray for us?  If so, please see the requests below.

*For our team to be incredibly sensitive to the Lord’s leading and empowered by Him to achieve what only HE can achieve on this trip.

*For salvations among the Japanese to result from this trip.

*For every team member to be fully funded.

*For God to enable us to establish a permanent work in Japan through this STM.

*For God to encourage and protect Danielle and Mattie as I am gone.  (And me as I’m away from them!)

*Direction from the Lord in regards to timing for our plans to move over.
