"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." Habakkuk 2:14

During our Monday night prayer time this week (which meets on campus) a random guy came and sat near us with his head bowed as if he wanted to join us. He was about 15 feet away, so I caught his eye and motioned to him that he could come sit with us, and he did. However, about 20 minutes before we were done praying, he got up and made a “thank you very much” motion by bowing and putting his hands together and then left.

Anyway, we were a little sad that we didn’t get to meet him, but I said a little prayer (internally) that I would run into him again sometime on campus. The next day, one of the folks at the prayer time said how disappointed they were that we didn’t get to meet him before he left, and I said, “No big deal. I prayed that we would run into him again.” Right after I said that, I instantly thought, “Man, that’s a little bold, David!” Anyway, this has happened to me enough times that if I pray that we will see someone again that weren’t able to really connect with (and/or get their information) and it really seems to be in God’s will that we do, AND we ask Him to do that, we inevitably see them again.

WELL…lo and behold….today I was in the library meeting with my new Chinese friend (who I referred to in my last post), and the guy from the prayer time walks past RIGHT in front of us! So…I chased him down and got his information and he was delighted to hear that we get together in the week on different occasions to pray, read the Bible, worship, etc.

Praise God for His faithfulness, and for giving us the ability to call upon Him!
