responsibility

Joh 14:12  “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me (Jesus) will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he (whoever believes in Christ) do, BECAUSE I am going to the Father.”

BECAUSE Jesus was about to ascend to the Father, needs all over the world were to remain unmet.

And since we (everyone who truly believes in Christ) ARE His Body – His physical presence in the earth right now – these needs are to be met by us.  (or rather Christ IN us)   The mission is the same.  (John 17:18, Mark 16:15)  But the responsibility is now ours.

He leaves the responsibility to us…BUT He gives us power to live it out.  [Acts 1:8]
(Not to mention that He pre-plans the works for us to “walk into!” Eph. 2:10)

How can I NOT join Him in this work?
